As this is my first post, I thought I'd share a couple of my EdWin fanart:






The first pic is a quick oekaki I did the other night on my enikki page. This next one is a kiss meme I found on Pixiv (jp site like DA), that I have up on my DA page. I hope you like them!

As for the short rant, I stumbled across cutscenes from the 'Akatsuki no Ouji' FMA Wii game last night and was surprised (yet delighted!) to see so much EdWin! X3 I was watching through someone's gameplay (which included the cutscenes and his commentary) on niconico, and was glad to see (or hear, rather) he's an EdWin fan as well. Anyway someone's uploaded the main EdWin parts from that particular bit in the game here on youtube:

Part 1:



Edward's such a gentleman X3

I'll briefly translate the main EdWin parts here:

(@ the bar)
- Winry asks Ed what he wants to drink and comments on how awesome the Armstrong original cocktail is. (Ed selects to have the same as Winry). Ed asks Winry what she ordered and says that he'll have the same. Winry asks for one more yoghurt drink (lol). Ed remarks that it's milk-related lol. When Winry asks if it's no good, Ed reluctantly says that he'll drink it anyway, since it's not actual milk exactly (auw~~) XD

(@ the stage area)
- Ed asks Winry what's up, and she replies that she was watching the dance. Ed mentions about how Winry's into dancing, whereupon the menu shows up and 'winry' selects that she wants to　ask Ed to dance X3. She suggests they dance, whereupon Ed gets flustered as he doesn't see why he has to dance with a childhood friend. Winry replies that since it's her she thought she'd ask.　Ed says that he has his honour, and that he'll dance with her after he gets bigger/taller than her XD

(@ table area)
- Winry asks Ed what he thinks about her dress. She says that Riza helped her with the preparations since everything was short notice.　Ed comments that it's nice and that it suits her. Winry's like 'Really? Ehehe', then Ed's like 'And dressed like that no one can tell that you're a farm-girl/bumpkin' haha... nice one Ed :p

(@ Terrace)
- Ed expresses his feeling uncomfortable and wonders whether he can be like one of the big　shots/higher ups. Winry comments　about getting a stiff neck, and Ed likens that to an old lady. (Urgh I get it but I can't put it into words orz) Anyway, Winry expresses that she wants to tamper with (his, I gather) automail since she's got some good parts.　Ed calls her a silly machine otaku, whereas Winry chooses 'shut up you Alchemy otaku'. XD Ed's about to bite back but remarks on how they've argued like that before and Winry replies that she wouldn't know/didn't realise since they've been around each other too much for a long time. (er dunno how to phrase that one in a better way sorry orz)

(@ Bar)
- Ed makes Winry a drink. Winry's delighted~

Part 2:



(@ Master room)
- Winry comments on how lovely the room is　and that it wouldn't be possible to do automail research in the middle of the night in such a nice room. Ed calls her an automail otaku for saying that, she replies that it's 'cos of such an automail otaku that he's saved all the time lol. Ed get's annoyed saying that she's not cute and for her not to say such a thing herself lol)

- Winry makes Ed a drink. Ed thanks her and says it's good~

(@ Terrace)
- Ed asks Winry if the fireworks have gone off yet. He then asks her if something's wrong. She's unsure so Ed chooses to tell him about it (what's up). Winry's somewhat surprised at Ed being thoughtful/sensitive and asks whether he ate something strange XD Anyway, Ed says that it'd be strange not realising anything despite being childhood friends. Winry's wondering what that is, and upon Ed asking what what is, Winry says that maybe she'll be happy. Ed says that he's only stating what's obvious (like, er usual things)

(@ Terrace 2)
- Winry feels nostalgia and asks Ed about the last time they saw fireworks together. Ed replies that is was ages ago at a Resembool matsuri (festival), before he became like that (lost his limbs/got automail). Winry mentions that back then Ed and Al had left her behind and went to a secret special spot. Ed remarks (regretfully) how that had made her cry. Winry continues that the two came back for her, but since the fireworks were ending, the 3 of them only saw the last little bit together. Ed remarks about that happening, and apologises. Winry says that she cried then, but not because she was lonely, but because he and Al would keep secrets from her and that they didn't talk to her about their mother. Also, she felt upset that she couldn't do anything and couldn't be in Ed and Al's group (like, being included. Nakama).　Ed tells her that it's not like that and that he's always thankful for what she's done. Winry asks if that's true, and then asks him to not　face problems alone anymore. She says that although she can't do anything, she can at least listen. Ed says that he knows that, and that he relies/depends on her more than anyone (auw~) -Mission complete-

Gaah hopefully that makes things a bit clearer (I dunno if this has already been translated *shrug*) Anyway, there's more EdWin hints throughout the game from what I've seen. X3 Pity I don't have a Wii :S So er yeah, hope things make sense, sorry for such a long post! I'm on the verge of falling asleep lol orz
　
Anyhow, I'm suffering from lack of EdWin lately (especially in the manga, though I'm looking forward to volume 18 being covered in the anime mufufu) hence why I've been drawing EdWin pics lately (the others are WIP/scribbles) and am in EdWin mode wahaha...
